Couple of questions please help?
1. Which of the following is not a characteristic of life? maintains homeostasis *** composed of cells composed of atoms carries out metabolism 2. Which of the following must be true to consider something to be alive? It must be able to replicate its DNA. It must be able to respond to light. It must be able to convert energy from one form to another. ** It must be able to move. 3. Which of the following represents a correct sequence of levels within the hierarchy of life? community, population, biosphere cell, population, organism cell, organism, tissue organ, organ system, organism** 4. Which of the following characteristics of living things could be applied to an automatic door at a supermarket? Living things grow and develop. Living things evolve over generations. Living things respond to stimuli in the environment** Living things maintain a stable internal environment. 5. In the hierarchy of life, which level is below the community level but above the organ level? cell population ** molecule tissue
Why are all correct **ed
those are my answers just need them checked
Hats off to you........... :p
I'm not sure but I think your answer in question 1 is wrong ,since there are also 1 cell organisms, like some bacteria,so it's not nesessary to be composed by cellS in order to be alive.
okay, with the characters of living things, you don't need atoms, you need cell, homeostatic and metabolism. for #2, I think you need to have DNA, cuz light and able to move is nothing, plants can move too. Energy is kinda silly, you need to obtain and use it, not produce it lol
#3 i dunno what it that mean, #4 i think is either c or d. #5, is tissue, is like your muscle
It isn't tissue. The hierarchy goes: Atom, Molecule, Organelle, Cell, Tissue, ORGAN, Organ System, Organism, POPULATION, Community, Ecosystem, Biosphere This is from least complex to most complex.
