So think of this as a fration. In this case, 60 would be equal so than it is 40/60

Then you just divide the top from the bottom. that gives you .666666666... so just round that to the nearest hundredth. your final answer is .67!

also since 40/60 is a big fraction you can deduce it to 2/3. This still will equal .6666666...

Hmm, okay thanks. 40/60 as a percent would be something like 66.6% repeating right? That is not one of my options. These are my only options 130%, 150%, 110%, 170%. Thanks for the answer!
