Solve the equation using the square root property. x^2 + 36 = 11 Please help me with this, I don't know what the square root property is, so if someone could help me figure this out, that would be awesome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you isolote x^2, and you get x^2 = -25, and that means x has to be a complex number. Because you cannot take the square root of a negative number, unless you are working with complex number.

The complex solution would be x = 5i or x = -5i
