Math question

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so.. graph it then :)

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

I used desmos and it looks like A

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Is that what you get, too?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well.. you're supposed to graph it, by using a values table I assume, not desmos... so make the table, and graph it :)

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

I mean I can use desmos though, right? That's what I've been doing...

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, the exercise doesn't state that you use technology to do it so I'd think you're expected to use other method, a values table because you could just use any graphing calculator for that matter

OpenStudy (ksaimouli):

How do you draw x+2?

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@jim_thompson5910 It's A right?

OpenStudy (ksaimouli):

x i.e shifted two unit left

OpenStudy (ksaimouli):

Yup, it should A

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you can either type in `|x+2|` or `abs(x+2)` desmos understands either form (they're both the same expression)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

and yeah A looks perfect

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Oh good, thanks.
