What is the IUPAC name for this structure? Here is a link to the structure. I thought the name was "2-3-cyclomethylpentane" But its not right! Please help!

Hey.
You can start by the side that has the alkyl group.
There are 2 methyl groups, particularlry in positions 1 and 2.
Hence, name it as 1,2 dimethyl cyclopentane.

Start by numbering the side with an alkyl group attached to the main substance.
