How do single-celled decomposers get energy? A. They make their own food. B. They use a process called budding, C. They feed on living organisms. D. They break down dead organisms
What do you guess? :)
im guessing b tbh
Actually, it's D
Budding is a method of reproduction.
ohhhh O_O i'm bad at science
Decomposition means a thing eating dead things, so D.
Breaking down dead organisms is the correct answer :)
thank you guys :D
it said it was wrong 0-0
Photosynthesising or chemosynthesising organisms make their own food, and carnivorous organisms eat living things. You just have to think about the name. What?
Decomposers eat dead material. Fact.
i guess my teacher must have graded it wrong :/
Tell them a person on the internet says they're wrong, they'll correct it at once :P
Tell them wikipedia says 'Decomposers are organisms that break down dead or decaying organisms, and in doing so, carry out the natural process of decomposition.' They can't argue with wikipedia. Also so does my biology textbook, which is harder to argue with.
