A fireman used a ladder with 56 rungs. The rungs on the ladder were 15 in. apart and 1.5 in. thick. What is the distance from the bottom of the lowest rung to the top of the highest rung?

each rung is 1.5in thick and 15in apart so from the bottom of one rung, to the bottom of the next one is 15 + 1.5 if you add those, for as many rungs there are, then you get the bottom of the last one so to get to the top of it, just add its thickness, or 1.5in|dw:1442533875798:dw|
