it is not really a matter of how many people play, it is a matter of how many possible numbers that can be played, vs how many you play

for example, if you play the 3 digit number straight, you have to get all 3 correct 
there are 1000 possible numbers between $(0,0,0)$ and $(9,9,9)$ so the probability you win if you play one number is $\frac{1}{1000}=.0331$
