what was the trojan war really fought over (as the war progresses) and the answer isnt helen
the mythical explanation was that Zeus had planned the war to solve the problem of overcrowding
do u happen to know any other reasons @zaraxx that reason doesnt exactly work
i can't think of any other reasons off the top of my head, sorry! do they give you any options?
no but i was thinking maybe like honor and glory
maybe u can help me with another question?
definitely, sorry for being late i thought i hit post when i didn't
ok, so what are some character traits exhibited by heroes on both sides (trojans and greeks) and what do they say about what their cultures value in a person?
this may take me a sec bc im going back and forth between answering multiple questions to sorry about that!!
both the greeks and the trojans were very violent, quick to fight people. Achilles was the most prominent hero of the war on the greek side and his rage was a huge feature of the war. hector (trojan) is probably the most noble of either sides. honor plays a key role in the cultures of both the greeks and the trojans, and it is apparent in the war as well. im trying to hit some broad ideas so we can brainstorm off them a bit, are these making sense so far?
