OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Exponents of zero have value 1:\[n^{0}=1\]Exponents of 1 doesn't actually mean anything because it's the number itself:\[n^{1}=n\]Negative exponents means this:\[n^{-1}=\frac{1}{n^{1}}\]

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

So, what answers did you get from what I just said? :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk ;(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help idk how to get the ANSWERS

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

>_> ... Apply what I said to the equations... n is an example number...

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

@pooja195 x_x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IDK

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

=_=... First question I will do to show you... 11^0 is in n^0 format:\[11^{0}\rightarrow n^{0}\]\[n^{0}=1\rightarrow11^{0}=1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to do that >->

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im being honest

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

In first question 11 is the n. In second question -49 is the n. In third question 0 is the n. In fourth question, 7 is n.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait 2 is b?!

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

No. #2 is not B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait explain to m how i can find the answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*Sits up str8*

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

D: I already explained to you!! > <

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D;

pooja195 (pooja195):

@XEnt appreciate the help you are given @kittiwitti1 has already explained to you. If you don't understand it still then i think you need to talk to your teacher.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Thank you @pooja195 x_x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D: my teacher got ran over by a train im getting a replacement monday

OpenStudy (anonymous):

XOX

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

. . .

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I hope you didn't push him. :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a girl -___-

pooja195 (pooja195):

lol xD ok any base that has an exponent of 0 results in 1

pooja195 (pooja195):

therefore 11^0=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3= 3

pooja195 (pooja195):

Are you trolling???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3=C

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

OH so you had a lover's spat with the professor and you pushed her and she fell in front of the train!! You muderer!! D:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Murderer*

pooja195 (pooja195):

@XEnt really? Stop trolling.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can we stay professionnal here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not trolling...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying to solve this equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

._,

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Murderer* I'm sorry but you killed someone I must take you into custody now :\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please stop

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can we work on this problem >_<?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Please take answering these problems seriously. :] Okay. \[n^{0}=1\]\[\text{if n=11, what is }n^{0}?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11^0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;D

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Okay now solve that.\[11^{0}=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

>_<

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

._ . How... \[n^{0}=1\]\[\text{if n=11... }11^{0}=n^{0}=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

>_< im trying but i just doont know ;(

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Solve the question I gave you 28 seconds ago

pooja195 (pooja195):

ok any base that has an exponent of 0 results in 1 therefore 11^0=1 <= #1 (-49)^1 translates to -49 x 1 so what is -49 x 1 =? <=#2 0^1 = 0 x 0 = ? <=#3 #4=>For this you want to make the exponent positive so you want to make it a fraction like this : |dw:1442547582413:dw| We need to bring down the exponent to make it positive like this |dw:1442547654998:dw| So whats 7 x 7 This is all the help im offering you take it or leave it is up to you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11^0 =1 =?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Take off the "=?" and you got your answer ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 x 7 49 ezzz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11^1 :D?

pooja195 (pooja195):

Im gonna let @kittiwitti1 finish it since she started :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait wtf how does this relate to my question?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

No, 11^0*=1. Anything with 0 as exponent is 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is this a answer choice?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

It has 0 as exponent right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11^0 = 1 i been knew that ;-;

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

... Now I take you into jail for murdering your professor. >.>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

>_>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

skype?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kitti you got skype>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

JOKING XD Anyway next problem has 1 as exponent. It just means the number itself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 2 is D -49? ;D

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Yes :]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;)

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

#3 is same idea. What answer did you get/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*Gets it wrong*

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

No it's right XD Okay and #4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C ;D

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Yesss Look you succeeded!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! -throw confetti!- :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*Stares O_O*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;D more?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

But you still going to jail for killing your professor. >_>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

>_<
