Exponents of zero have value 1:\[n^{0}=1\]Exponents of 1 doesn't actually mean anything because it's the number itself:\[n^{1}=n\]Negative exponents means this:\[n^{-1}=\frac{1}{n^{1}}\]
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
So, what answers did you get from what I just said? :p
OpenStudy (anonymous):
idk ;(
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i need help idk how to get the ANSWERS
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
>_> ... Apply what I said to the equations... n is an example number...

=_=... First question I will do to show you... 11^0 is in n^0 format:\[11^{0}\rightarrow n^{0}\]\[n^{0}=1\rightarrow11^{0}=1\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
idk how to do that >->

Okay. \[n^{0}=1\]\[\text{if n=11, what is }n^{0}?\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
11^0
OpenStudy (anonymous):
;D
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

ok any base that has an exponent of 0 results in 1 therefore 11^0=1 <= #1
(-49)^1 translates to -49 x 1 so what is -49 x 1 =? <=#2
0^1 = 0 x 0 = ? <=#3
#4=>For this you want to make the exponent positive so you want to make it a fraction like this :
|dw:1442547582413:dw|
We need to bring down the exponent to make it positive like this
|dw:1442547654998:dw|
So whats 7 x 7
This is all the help im offering you take it or leave it is up to you.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
11^0 =1 =?
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
Take off the "=?" and you got your answer ^^
OpenStudy (anonymous):
7 x 7 49 ezzz

Im gonna let @kittiwitti1 finish it since she started :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait wtf how does this relate to my question?
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
No, 11^0*=1. Anything with 0 as exponent is 1.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so is this a answer choice?
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
It has 0 as exponent right?
