@texaschic101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That means 8.763196 x 10^(-7), which is the same as \[\frac{8.763196}{10^7}\] Every time you divide by 10, you move the decimal point one place to the left ... so, how many places to the left would you have to move the decimal point?

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

so is it D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Close ... count again ... moving to the left one place takes you just before the 8 ...

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

Its C tell me its C :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's it! One place to the left got you just before the 8; six more places inserted the six zeros. Good!

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

U ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
