Which kind of phrase are the underlined words in the sentence? I asked for a medium cup of orange juice. A. appositive phrase B. adverb phrase C. adjective phrase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which ones are underlined?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of orang juce

OpenStudy (bishoppatton):

A. appositive phrase the others don't make sense

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

The Bishop is right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd go with adjective phrase. An appositive is like an interruption to give more information generally. At least with an adjective phrase you can say "What kind of juice is it? Orange" orange being the adjective

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xD

OpenStudy (bishoppatton):

Haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Appositives are like "Betsy, my great-aunt, sat on the couch"

OpenStudy (bishoppatton):

what do you think @texaschic101

OpenStudy (bishoppatton):

so many people on this post lol

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

adjective phrase modifying the noun " cup " .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It wouldn't make sense for it to be an appositive phrase because it's not really giving us more situation. It's giving us an object of the sentence

OpenStudy (bishoppatton):

well 2 for adjective and 2 for appositive
