OpenStudy (trwatkins1):

whitch one is it?

OpenStudy (dehelloo):

Ok. I've realised it cant be B because it is badly worded as The dwarves expectation Bilbo to venture into Smaug's lair alone does not resolve the dispute. There is a person vs. person conflict between the dwarves and Bilbo at the beginning of the story IS gradually resolved after Bilbo proves his usefulness to them. Thus the answers is A.
