Well you sometimes use this to see if your compounds reacted, or whether there are certain compounds left in solution. 

you create a solvent system; usually it's like ethyl acetate and hexanes in a certain ratio; and then based off of your solvent system 

You asked for a table, what table are you talking about? 

for TLC you need to calculate Rf values which is basically how much the compound moved on the paper, and there is no chart for those you need to determine those experimentally.
