going through it, give me 2 mins please :-)
ok ty! :)
alright so for part a, the question is asking you the following things: 1. Name two things which are cube but different in size 2. Total volume of the two cubes as a sum You did answer part 1 by saying that one cube can be a shoe box and the other can be a bird cage, however i see some stuff that is not required, such as 18 inch, 3 inch and other dimensions.
and then you wrote the expression 8a^3 + 2b^3 which is correct. for part A i think this is how it should look like http://prntscr.com/8hzysx
Part b is correct. Just noticed that for part (a) you forgot to write b in 27b^3, so fix that.
the part u have put a red line over. should i not write that?
yes don't write that. The question does not require that information
oh ok Thank u :)
As far as i can see, part c does not correct. If you notice \[(2a+3b)(4a^2-6ab+9b^2) = 8a^3+27b^3\] So instead of putting a and b values in the factored form, just put them in the original equation which will be a lot easier to calculate
\[(8*3)^3+ (27*5)^3 = 2474199\]
Oh ok. Tysm!
no worries. If you don't understand anything just tag me here or send me a private msg. Good luck with your homework out there ! :-)
