Will Medal And Fan! Agricola puellam amat. Meaning: The farmer loves the girl. 1. What Latin ending in the sentence above represents the SUBJECT?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

First decide which word is the subject, object and verb. "Agricola" is a farmer (in nominative case, i.e. subject) "Puellam" is a girl (in accusative case, i.e. object) "amat" is indicative present, third person. The reason we need to know the endings is because a sentence in Latin could be written in almost any order, and still will not be confusing.
