Concurrency Programming Question If 3 people are building lego block towers consisting of 3 alternating lego block colors in any order and each person building can only place one color block and there is space for up to 6 towers, what is the largest number of towers that can be being built in parallel at any time and what is the largest number of towers than can be being built concurrently at any given time?

@snowpolar Is this the original question or is it a paraphrase of the question?

@mathmate This is the original question in a quiz that is since over, but I'm curious to know.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

I don't visualize the constraints in the question, apart from the fact that consecutive blocks cannot have the same colour. Also, are the towers adjacent to each other, in what form? I suppose adjacent blocks must not have the same colour either.
