Hello all, I'm having trouble downloading matplotlib 1.0.0 for problem set 6. I am running Python version 2.5 and receive the following errors when downloading:
1) Could not create key: matplotlib-py2.5
2) Could not set key value: Python2.5matplotlib-1.0.0
3) Could not set key value: "C:\Python25\removematplotlib.exe" -u "C:\Python25\matplotlib-wininst.log"
Running the matplotlib test program returns an import error. Can anyone help me understand why I am receiving these errors and how to fix them? Thank you.

First guess:  when installing software, administrative permissions are usually needed.  Those messages sound like an unprivledged user trying to install software.
