This is probably a stupid question but i want to learn how to write songs. Can anyone help me?

ok they first thing i do is think of a title or the first sentence of my song or what im feeling or what i want my song to be about so start off with one of those

Making a song really depends on what the song will be about.. Lyrics will be (usually) based on the whole point of the song. Most worded songs have an intro a few fillers and a chorus so you may want to do that as well. Music will depend on how you want it to sound. Minor, major, both? with a beat or no beat? fast song or slow?

Honestly I found writing songs very difficult when I started. But I found that if you write out your emotions about the subject then it's easier to write a song.
