Geometry 20 Online
OpenStudy (zuha):

A circle has a center at (8,2). The point (3,7) is on the circle. What is the area of the circle to the nearest tenth of a square unit?

OpenStudy (mrnood):

all you need is the radius of the circle (area = pi * r^2) |dw:1442825559505:dw| You can work out the radius using Pythagoras (in fact - work out r^2 is easier, then multiply by pi)
