Name the two systems that make up the structure of most plants, and the parts found within each.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is cell wall and cell membrane, but I'm not sure.

@Koikkara @Missiey @williamross77 @Youngsnoop_22 @Rushwr What is turgor pressure, what causes it, and what does it do for a plant?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk lil bro

OpenStudy (koikkara):

Hmm... Turgor pressure pushes the plasma membrane against the cell wall of plant, bacteria, and fungi cells as well as those protist cells which have cell walls.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

in other words, The water pressure inside plant cells is called \(turgor~ pressure\), and it is maintained by a process called osmosis. Also, When a plant cell stores ions, sugars and other solutes in its vacuole, this causes an influx of water. The influx of water results in a large turgor @kyoung
