Say you're trying to write 1/3 as a decimal. You would write 0.33 like this

|dw:1442853113066:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with a bar over "33" because that is the part that repeats.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how do we write the repetating decimal in proper form ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are you trying to do? Is there a specific problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no im just asking a question :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just need to know how to write in in PROPER FORM! :)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I thought that was proper form... 0.33333333 = 0.33 with a line over the 33
