3C = 2D - 1

OpenStudy (breanna1999):

What are you asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand how to solve for S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no S in the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D*

OpenStudy (breanna1999):

Add 1 divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha yeah(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!😀

OpenStudy (breanna1999):

3C=2D-1 add one 3C+1=2D divide by 2 3C+1/2=D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only adjustment I'd make it that the whole thing is divided by 2 so \[\frac{ 3C+1 }{ 2 } = D\] Just wanted to make sure that was clear!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the final answer would be 4C/2=D? Or no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait I've got it! Never mind. Thank you both!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem, always remember you can't just add 1 to a variable that you don't know yet!
