one sec

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Maybe @jdoe0001 can help...? not sure :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\left( f-g \right)\left( x \right)=f \left( x \right)-g \left( x \right)=\frac{ x }{ x-3 }-\left( 2x-1 \right)=?\]

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

I got \[\frac{ -2x ^{2}-8x+3 }{ x-3 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[=\frac{ x-\left( x-3 \right)\left( 2x-1 \right) }{ x-1 }=\frac{ x-\left( 2x^2-x-6x+3 \right) }{ x-1 }=?\]

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Why didn't I get one of the answer choices??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can see my calculation it should be -3 ,not +3 in your calculation.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

So now I'm getting -2x + 6 + (3/x-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got my calculation.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Ok what did you get as your final answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the denominator correction it is x-3 not x-1

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

So is the answer A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes
