the problem states there are 9 more children than parents in the room. there are 25 people in the room in all how many children in the room in all . what are the unknowns in this problem? 1.the total number of children and the total number of parents in the room 2. the total number of children in the room 3. the total number of parents in the room 4. the total of people in the room

It's A (parents and children) because although we don't know how many parents and how many children, we know there are 25 people. This rules out D. But we don't know how many parents OR how many children, making it A. Does that make sense?
