It's not B. If you substitute the coordinates of A into the equations, that will eliminate two of the choices. To decide between the other two possibilities, look at the slope - parallel lines have the same slope.

Yes, the correct answer is C.
@veraewing inserting the point into the equation you think is true is half the battle. If everything on the right side of the equationdoes not add to zero after inserting the point then you can eliminate that option
