Quick question: derivative of 1+cos(3x). would It be 1-3sin(3x)? or would the 1 disappear (because of the power rule)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would go bye bye

OpenStudy (clara1223):

Thanks!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw not "cause the power rule"

OpenStudy (clara1223):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you mean the derivative rule for polynomials yes?
