Skin, so perfect, smooth and soft...concealing the pain within. Suddenly the knife cuts deep, trying to cut away the pain, suffering and hurt that is hidden by a smile. A blood red waterfall, ending a life, whispering goodbye, forever.

Drag the blade across and watch as it floods. Cut on my wrist, cut on my thigh. Wait 'til everyone's asleep, then cut in the night. Small cut, big cut, cut too deep. Sit and watch as it continues to bleed. Hi cut, bye cut, it keeps bleeding out. See you later cut, it's all over now.

I know. I'm not trying to draw attention to myself, but I feel that people need to know that other people do hurt, no matter what they look like on the outside. Even if they look as if they have it all together. And they try to hide the hurt, but because they can't express their hurting verbally because no one understands them, they hurt themselves. Making the hurt and pain inside hurt worse.
