@Hero

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Can you define what they mean by "trace"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry no that's where my trouble is.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

"trace" just means "very small amounts"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's called a trace element because there's a small amount of it? Or am i missing something

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yep, well the body requires a small amount of it. I'm actually not entirely sure if Fe falls under the trace category. "4 to 5 grams of iron in their bodies. Of this, about 2.5 g is contained in the hemoglobin" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_iron_metabolism Why dont you use something else, like molybdenum? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Composition_of_the_human_body

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks for the help! :)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

no problem!
