Glucose is a simple sugar made up of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. What kind of molecule is glucose? A. Glucose is protein. B. Glucose is a nucleic acid. C. Glucose is an organic molecule. D. Glucose is an inorganic molecule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because of the carbon, hydrogen and oxygen that makes up glucose, it is an organic molecule. Post this to the chemistry section next time :)

http://www.worldofmolecules.com/foods/glucose.htm this link might help but it says that: Glucose can form from formaldehyde under abiotic conditions, so it may well have been available to primitive biochemical systems. Probably more important to advanced life is the low tendency of glucose, by comparison to other hexose sugars, to nonspecifically react with the amino groups of proteins.
