Would someone help me with translating something in Spanish? I know most of the words.

Here's the sentence "La madre de Cristina es de Cuba."

I think it translates to "The mother of Cristina is of Cuba." Is that correct?

My Spanish may be a little rusty... but Spanish syntax is different from English syntax. I believe properly translated it is "Christina's mother is from Cuba". I could be incorrect though.
