yes they both are correct :) reducing 25% frm the original price is same as taking 75% of the original price nd now we have to calculate the final price of the book. so 1st we get a discount of 25% that means we get the book at only 75% of the original price so we have- (26.5)x75/100 =19.875 and now there is 10%tax on this so we need to pay 110% of this price so 110% of 19.875 is-> (19.875)x110/100=21.8625 and they have got 23$ with them so they can buy it :)
