Can someone please help me with this question? -A bag holds the following marbles: 6 blue 5 gold 4 white 3 orange 2 clear Philip is hoping to get either a clear one or an orange one because those two colors are most coveted. What are the chances that the next marble he picks at random will be either clear or orange?

OpenStudy (johan14th):

2 clear + 3 orange=5 Divided by total amount of marbles =20 5/20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.25

OpenStudy (johan14th):

Yup more exact would be that there is a 25% chance of getting a clear or orange marble
