ok so a dependent event is the one which depends on something

for example-

1)lets take the pizza example
it says that On Friday night, you order pizza and on Tuesday night, you also order pizza.

u basically u buy a pizza no matter its friday or tuesday so this one is not the dependent event

the answer wuld be A because they r not putting back the name that was pulled out 1st
and thus the name pulled out on the second chance depends upon the name pulled out in 1st chance...

Mathematically I agree with @imqwerty's response.

I believe, however, the question is not clear-cut enough, or even flawed, about the Tuesday and Friday Pizza. Say, I do not eat pizza more than once a month. So ordering pizza on Friday could easily affect what I do on the following Tuesday. Also, financially, the two are related, since Thursday is pay day, I could be short of money on Tuesday.
I would have used a better situation for examples like these.
