Domain is where the function is defined in this case 0 to 41
OpenStudy (adajiamcneal):
well i was suppose to design my own rollercoaster and plot points well i need to find the slope of the initial climb and the domain and range
OpenStudy (ankit042):
Range is value which function can take it is a continuos function with min 0 and max value 21 so that is the range
OpenStudy (adajiamcneal):
@Marie1738 yes.
@ankit042 so the domain is just the last point?
OpenStudy (ankit042):
you can find the slope from the given points and get your equation using two point formula

No domain is the set of values where function is defined so in this case it is all points between 0 and 41
OpenStudy (adajiamcneal):
ok. how would i get the equation?
OpenStudy (adajiamcneal):
OpenStudy (adajiamcneal):
i think this would be the equation. y =9x/8
