Which relation is also a function? {(0, 3), (1, 2), (1, 4), (2, 1)} {(-1, 3), (0, 2), (3, -1), (3, 2)} {(2, -4), (2, -2), (2, 1), (2, 3)} {(-4, -3), (0, -3), (1, -3), (4, -3)}
a function will NOT have 2 x values that are the same...they can have y values that are the same, just not the x values. So find which one has all x values that are different...and that is your function.
what
ok...your points are set up as (x,y) look at the first answer choice.....(0,3) , (1,2) , (1,4) , (2,1) all of your x values are : 0,1,1,2 do you understand that ? and since there are x values that repeat....there are 2 ones, then this is not a function. There can be no repeating x values...or it is not a function.
so basically, you have to find the one that has no repeating x values....all the x values have to be different....and that is your function
ok thank you
you find it yet ?
yeah got it right
sweet....it was D
thanks
no problem :)
