Need help! why would repeated practice of guitar chords make you a better guitar player? a) Repeated practice improves short term memory b) Repeated practice makes it more likely that the actions necessary to play the chords will be stored in long term memory c) Repeated practice makes nerve impulses more faster, improving long term memory formation d) Repeated practice increase the number of neurons involved in long term memory formation
b
or d
@Minxiemoon B is correct when talking about memory and why practice makes perfect (no pun intended), remember that any task repeated over the course of time becomes habit. Weather or not its a good habit, the muscle memory and long term memory storage in the brain collects movement from the muscles and relays it to the brain. After a period of repetitive actions it stores more a more information to the long term memory bank, making it more likely to stick. In other words, anything you practice or repeat is more likely to be something you become good at or remember since its a common task for your brain. Hope this helped! :)
