OpenStudy (amberofficial1):

how much force does it require to move a 5000 kg object from a velocity of 0m/s to 8m/s in 10 seconds?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

impact = change in momentum \[Ft = m(v_f - v_0)\]

OpenStudy (amberofficial1):

yes but i dont get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to put the numbers from your problem into the equation. F = force t = time m = mass \(v_0\)= initial velocity \(v_f\)= final velocity You have everything except the force
