Figure ABCD is reflected about the x-axis to obtain figure A'B'C'D': Which statement best describes the relationship between the two figures?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. Figure ABCD is similar to figure A'B'C'D'. b. Figure ABCD is bigger than figure A'B'C'D'. c. The measure of angle D is equal to the measure of angle A'. d. The measure of angle D is equal to the measure of angle B'.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

The measures of the angles stay the same when they are reflected. So you can now cross off two options since angle D is equal to angle D, angle A is the same as angle A,etc.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

If it is reflected, does not get any bigger. So, now that those options are out of the way, which one is left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A?

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

I believe so. Have someone double check since it's been awhile since I did this :)

Ok thanks for your help! :)
