writing in standard form question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write an equation of the line passing through (-3,2) and (6,3). Give the answer in standard form. Okay, so I first got -x-21=-9y and that was incorrect. I tried again and got 9y=x+21 and that was incorrect. I feel like maybe I'm messing with my signs. Please help!

\[y-3=\frac{ 1 }{ 9 }(x-6)\] multiply both sides by 9 \[9y-27=x-6\] subtract 9y -27=x-6-97 add 6 to both sides -21=x-9y subtract x -x-21=9y
