(4x+3)/4 - (2x-8)/9 is greater than or equal to -3 I have to solve the inequality and then write the solution set as interval notation. I know i have to get the denominator to be the same, so now i have it as: (44x -5)/36 is greater than or equal to -12/36 im not sure what to do from here

OpenStudy (alekos):

I get (45x-8x+27+32)/36 >= -3

OpenStudy (alekos):

which simplifies to (37x+59)/36 >= -3

OpenStudy (alekos):

now multiply both sides by 36

OpenStudy (alekos):

then subtract both sides by 59 and finally divide both sides by 37 what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got x >= -167/37
