I'm having a little trouble with this one. Maybe I'm using the wrong formula, but it isn't coming out correctly: Pelicans tuck their wings and free fall straight down when diving for fish. Suppose a pelican starts it’s dive from 25m and cannot change its path once committed. If it takes a fish 0.15 s to perform evasive action, at what minimum height must it spot the pelican to escape? Assume the fish is swimming at the top of the water.
I don't really have time to try and work it out with you because I"m doing my own homework but I found this online that should help https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110718202128AAHjJHy
I don't know if I helped at all or made it worse Lol just saw your question looked kind of lonely.
