1. Find the domain of the function. f(x)= 21 over x^2 +2x-168 I got (- infinity, -14)u(-14,12)u(12, infinity sign)
2. Same thing. g(x)= square root x-2 over x-6 I got Domain of g->> [2,6)u(6,infinity sign)
3. For f(x)= 5x-4, g(x)= 2x^2 -5 A. (f0g)(x) B (g0f)(x) C. (f0g)(-1) D. (g0f)(-1) A. 10x^2 -29 B. 50x^2 -80x+28 C. -39 D. 58
for number 2 - what about values of x going back to -infinity?
4. Given f(x)= x+7, g(x)= 3x^2, f+g, f-g, fg, f/g 1. 3x^2 +x+7 2. -3x^2 -x+7 3. 3x^2 +21x^2 4. x+7 over 3x^2 Domain for f+g, f-g,fg-> (- infinity sign, infinity sign) Domain for f/g -> (-infinity sign,0)u(0, infinity sign)
What?
for number 2 add the values of x from - infinity
Sorry but I don't understand what your saying.
x>/ 2 and x=6 [2,infinity) (- infinity, 6)u(6,infinity)
do you think its the last of these?
Last of what? O.o
