Hey I need some help understanding the steps to solving this. I'm so lost.

4 Regroup terms
3100×108x2 is the answer

I just figured it out. So the way my textbook is saying take 8.37/2.7 which is 3.1. Then 10^8/10^3, it becomes 10^5 because you subtract the exponents. so it's 3.1 x 10^5 which equals 310,000.
