OpenStudy (ragingsquirrel):

Domain: possible x values Range: possible y values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the domain is all real numbers?

OpenStudy (ragingsquirrel):

Yep! You set your answer up like this: {xIx=R(the symbol for real numbers)}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so like (∞,∞) or something?

OpenStudy (ragingsquirrel):

My math teacher makes me do it like this. It's good practice if you aren't already doing it. |dw:1443151147735:dw| It stands for The set of all X such that X is equal to all real numbers It's kind of connfusing. Basically all you're doing is putting brackets around your answer and an xI in front of it.
