OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

Write 67.847° in degrees, minutes, and seconds. Is it just the opposite? 67 degrees. then what?

OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

@zzr0ck3r Is this in your forte?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

1 degree = 60 minutes 1 minute = 60 seconds

OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

If they gave me degrees, then minutes, then seconds, I'd be fine. But they want me to switchit around, and it kinda confused me.

OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

67 degrees 50'49.2" Right? @ganeshie8 (is this wrong to do?)

OpenStudy (ytrewqmiswi):

67.847°=67° +0.874° convert 0.874° to mins u get 0.874 x 60 mins =52.44mins =52 + 0.44mins convert 0.44 into secs u get 0.44 x 60 secs 26.4secs so ur answer wuld be 67°52'26.4"
