if a decimal repeats , i think you can always convert that into a fraction...

something like letting s = 0.484848484848.. 100s = 48.4848484848.... 100s - s = 99s = 48 s = 48/99

i would look up the properties of each, and what operations you can do , like multiplying by a constant, or adding a constant, or squaring... whatever
