if u like math :) ...jst a little fun ques

OpenStudy (ytrewqmiswi):

2(x+y)=xy \[x \le y\] \[x,y \in \mathbb{N} \] find pairs (x,y)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

solve for \(y\) and then note the graph is decreasing on R

OpenStudy (ytrewqmiswi):

ok this is how i did it - 2(x+y)=xy 2x+2y=xy 2x=xy-2y 2x=y(x-2) 2x/(x-2)=y\[\frac{ 4 }{ x-2 }+2=y\] y has to be natural so x-2 must completely divide 4 and x cannot equal 2 so for x-2 to completely divide 4 x can have only 2 values 4 or 3 the corresponding values of y that u get are 4 and 6 respectively so the solutions are (4.4) and (3,6) :)
