how do find the depth of the cube

OpenStudy (nthenic_oftime):

To calculate the volume, you multiply these together, so if L is the length (and therefore the width and depth), the volume is L x L x L, or L3. To go from the volume to the length, you take the cube-root of the number.

i have the volume leghth and with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

volume is 24 , length is 3 and width is 8

OpenStudy (ytrewqmiswi):

thats a cuboid not a cube

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya a box

OpenStudy (ytrewqmiswi):

the volume of cuboid =length x width x depth let the depth be d so 24=3x8x d 24=24xd divide both sides by 24 1=d

thanks
