They added the fractions eg: \[\Large \frac{3}{5}+\frac{5}{3}\] \[\Large \color{red}{\frac{3}{3}}*\frac{3}{5}+\color{red}{\frac{5}{5}}*\frac{5}{3}\] \[\Large \frac{3*3}{3*5}+\frac{5*5}{5*3}\] \[\Large \frac{9}{15}+\frac{25}{15}\] \[\Large \frac{9+25}{15}\] \[\Large \frac{34}{15}\] So, \[\Large \frac{3}{5}+\frac{5}{3} = \frac{34}{15}\]
